My name is Heidi, and I live in Washington, D.C. where I work in international relations. I am an alum of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and University of Colorado at Boulder. I started this blog while studying abroad in college and it has since expanded to cover a variety of topics, from my travels to recipes to crafty projects and everything in between.

I grew up in rural Colorado, where I spent a bunch of time skiing, a bunch of time outside, and also a bunch of time waiting to get my driver’s license so that I didn’t have to wait for the bus at 6:30 am to get to my high school. I then went to CU Boulder and spent my senior year in Munich, Germany, simultaneously being frustrated and wonderfully happy learning German and exploring the country. I wrapped up the TransAtlantic Master’s Program in 2014, which took me to North Carolina, Berlin, Germany, and Bath, England. I’m excited to be living and working in the District and look forward to discovering a whole new part of the United States.

Anyway, that’s me! Further questions? Comments? Concerns? Snide remarks? Let me know. Thank you so much for reading!
